GBOOSH Family Handbook 2023-2024

Please familiarise yourself with the GBOOSH Family Handbook to gain all necessary information & an understanding of our Centre. It is important that all families read this annually as we have had many changes over the past year.

Failure to adhere to centre, CCS and government policies can result in the suspension or termination of a families place at the service.

If you wish to enrol in the service please contact the GBOOSH Office [email protected]

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

All families are able to apply for CCS through the MyGov or Centerlink systems. Parents MUST update their information with the Government annually via MyGov to ensure the correct rate is applied and there is no pause in their access to CCS. The Government has direct access linking it to GBOOSH’s accounting systems which means any adjustments, holds or overpayments can be corrected by the Government without the prior consent of GBOOSH or families.

Program

A wide variety of activities are planned at the Centre each week. A weekly program is displayed at the centre, children & families are encouraged to participate in/contribute to the program. The daily story is displayed at the centre, in the main room which provides an evaluation and photos from the day.
